The Joseph and Dorothy Giddan Child Health Research Awards Initiative is seeking proposals for highly innovative, lab-based basic or translational research projects that expand the knowledge base in the field of child health. To meet eligibility criteria, applicants must propose research that addresses a significant child health problem and that is based in the laboratory (i.e., non-clinical biomedical research). Proposals for behavioral or social science projects will be considered non-responsive. Maximum allowable budget is $100,000 for a one-year project period
